I found this silverware box with draw at Goodwill for only $5.00!!
There was no silverware inside, only the mint green lining.
I took off all the hardware and sanded it all down with 120 grit sandpaper, and pulled out the lining.
I then painted it with a lime green paint. I'm having my workspace have a little pop of color!! i didn't use a primer only because I wanted the wood grain to show through.
Here is the finished tool box. I have all my drill bits, paddle bits and other goodies.
Oh, I'm jealous and want that box! I probably spend more on finding organizers for my jewellery and tools than I do on stones and findings! Love the colour, too, BTW.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Susanna! My husband was kinda making fun of me for redoing something for my tools but I want my space to be clean and bright being it's in the basement. The better your feel in the space your in the better your ideas will flow.......that's what I think anyways lol!
