Oak Roll Top Desk Makeover

Here is a oak roll top desk. It had hardly any finish on the top of the desk. I wasn't able to get a picture of it together. It came in apart.
This is the top of the desk. The tambour was already taken out. The pigeon holes are all in tacked, just in the need for some TLC.
This is the tambour with stripper sitting on it.
This is the tambour half stripped.
Here are two draws with stripper sitting on them.
These ones are all stripped and ready to be sanded.
The desk is all sanded and ready for stain.
Stained and now ready for finish. Brain sprayed the coats of finish on!!
The roll top is all set and ready for the own to have!!

I'm more then pleased with the way it came out.

A Stair Make Over

We spent a lot of time sanding to make sure all marks were out of the wood. All holes from the nails that were holding the carpet down were filled and sanded.
We taped off all the parts that were going to be painted white. We don't want to stain to bleed through the white paint.

We then poly the stairs and all tape was removed and what ever other sand that need to be done.

Then the first coat of primer is put on.

Then the two coats of paint.
Then Brian is putting the last coat of poly
I really wish I was able to get a picture of how it looked with the carpet on it. The owners were so happy with the out come.
 Love it!

A Little Different

I wanted to show what a differences stripping and a little bit of sanding can do. Here are two chairs that came in the same color black. It was stripped and then sanded.
Here is a baby grand piano that was a job to strip, and sand.
This is what it looked like after being stained.
These are legs to a chair. The chairs were painted a dark blue. After stripping the blue was still in the grain. Once it was sanded the paint came out and we were able to stain them! They were beautiful. I forgot to take a picture of the done chair.
This is a kitchen that we are working on now. This is before sanded.
Here it is all sanded. What a differences.
Here is a little foot stool all apart. There were a ton of small piece that fell off. I'm so glad the owner found all the pieces.
Looks so much better all glued up!!
