Merry Christmas!

Here is my new Christmas Giraffe. I think he is so cute. I'm planning on keeping him up all year only going to take off the Santa hat and Christmas bulbs. I will add something different for every season! This could become really fun. We just have to name him now that he will be a part of the Poirier family.
Here is one of my husbands Christmas gifts. I got it free a while back and never did anything with it. John saw is a few months ago and said he would really like me to refinish it for him to have in his computer room. Well two weeks ago my boss asked if I was going to redo it for him for Christmas. I hadn't planned on it but after she said that I thought it would be a great idea to do so. I'm so glad she asked. She also helped me out with getting it done!! John got it early being he had to help me take it out of the van when I got home on Friday.
Because John got one of his gifts early, he let Josh and I have one too. John got me the camera of my dreams. Here is one of the first outdoor picture I got to take with it today.
I have been playing around with it ever since! I'm just so in love with it. I can't wait to go out on a sunny day and get some pictures.
I hope everyone is having a great Christmas season so far!

    1. I got a Canon EOS Rebel T3i. I stopped using my 35mm a long time ago and found out that the two cameras I got didn't have manual focus. I tried to let the camera do it's thing but just couldn't handle it anymore. I need to picture to focus on what I want. Hehe. Can't wait to get out on a hike and use it.
