First Week Back

So Monday was my first day back to work from being laid off and the loss of my best friend and coworker Ricky. I really didn't want Monday to come. I knew it was going to be hard driving into the parking lot, then walking into the building. I pushed myself to get into the car and driving to work. On my way I saw something that made me cry. Here it is...... It's hard to see and was way more beautiful in person. It was a rainbow stright up and down. The reason why it made me cry is where it was coming from is the town where my work is and where Ricky died. It was like he was saying "Suzie you can do this. I'm here and will help you through the day."

I pulled myself together and made it through the week. I didn't do it alone. I have two people there that also had to make it all week and I would say this has made us even closer as friends and coworkers, more like family. Brian and Cathy, I couldn't have done it without you!

Here are some of the things I worked on this week.

I glue this today. I forgot to take a clamp pic.
I need to cane 4 chairs.

I will take a finish picture Monday.

Here is a woman statue that had to be glued. Cracks had to be filled.........not here butt. Hehe...sorry couldn't help it.

Brian did a great job spraying her out in gold. Now she has to have a glaze put on her to match the other statues like her. I will take pic of them Monday.

So that's alittle of what I had to do this week at work.

    1. Yes turning object that were once buried or hidden into a piece that someone loves and shows off is the best feeling in the world!
