Necklaces! Sell or start over?

You would think I would take a class on how to make jewelry!! I just grab beads, wire and the tools and go for it. This is the first time wire wrapping a stone, shell or sea glass with no holes!!!! I found sea glass and shells last summer at a Maine beach and I had no idea what to do with them besides have them in a glass jar for show. Well being on Etsy I see people wrapping them with wire and thought that can't be that hard!!

It's not to hard you just have to wrap it the right way or the stone or shell will come right out of the wrap I found out by doing it myself.

Here are the ones I did. I only like the way two of them came out. I was thinking about selling them but I'm going to keep the two I like being I'm not sure if I found the glass or my son. I'm going to get more sea glass and make ones like it.

Let me know what you think about the rock ones and shell one!! Please. I just don't know if I should try selling them. My mother of course is telling me too, but that's my mom! lol

This green stone was not found at the beach. Not sure where I got it from. But I really like it and I'm going to keep it.

This sea glass was found on a beach in Maine. I plan on keeping this one too. I do plan on find more glass soon to make some for sale.
Now these are the ones I need to know if I should put them up for sale?? Or should I cut the wire and start over??? Please help me!!!! I just don't know what to do. I found these rocks on a Maine beach.

This is another stone that was not found at the beach.

This one is a broken shell that was found on the beach of Maine.

So what did you think???

  1. I agree with your mom, put them all up for sale, if you haven't already. I like the look of the roughness of the rocks and shell against the smoothness of the beads. You come up with such interesting ideas!
